It’s been a while longer since I wrote anything of general utility. \u00a0Most of my spew has been of a peculiar flavor spawned of my bile. \u00a0Give me a break, friends– the strongest urge to write is to pull in those who ken what you pen.<\/p>\n

Enough of that. \u00a0Life otherwise? \u00a0 I’ve been at my current job for a year now. \u00a0Well, it will have been a year\u00a0in one minute– and once this is posted. \u00a0I was contracted as a “Java developer”. \u00a0I hadn’t coded Java since its showcase presentation was an\u00a0applet of “Duke” doing his jack-hammer “Under Construction” stint and garish water-reflection applets on homepages.<\/p>\n
However, since I am a hacker by nature and by heart and by tripping fingers over the proper mechanical cherry-key-board– I can adapt. \u00a0Scored pretty high when asked to do so. \u00a0The sadness is that the task to which I was assigned was so vaguely defined as to\u00a0be impossible to “finish”, so … I’m viewed as a slacker.<\/p>\n
I have a Google Forms record of every day I’ve worked since I started. \u00a0I don’t fuck around. \u00a0I *want* to work. \u00a0I *live* to work.<\/p>\n
