It would need to be VERY expensive, maybe disapear to a new room once the user used it say 10 times. WOuld make for some good RP. MAybe when you use it also it costs insanity and injury??? make ya vulnerable??? Perhaps the cost of such a map being about the same price as a warp tube. 25k or so? Could also have it non repped therefore you would have to purchase it from someone. Have only like 5 in the entire game or something. -------------------------- Message 2347 from *ideas (#504): Date: Thu Jul 14 17:14:04 2005 CDT From: Shandryl (#24740) To: *ideas (#504) Subject: map You could also make the whereabours be like 1-2 minutes BEHIND the char so it keeps moving and you dont know which way. -------------------------- Message 2348 from *ideas (#504): Date: Thu Jul 14 17:16:02 2005 CDT From: Einar (#37205) To: *ideas (#504) Subject: Map What kind of creatures would the map have on it that would be worth it all? Perhaps through in some new creatures into the game that are worth wild but difficult to kill. The chimmy seems to be weaker than it used to. It's easier to kill than a gator in dixie. At least for me. -------------------------- Message 2349 from *ideas (#504): Date: Thu Jul 14 17:23:49 2005 CDT From: Darkpaw (#24594) To: *ideas (#504) mob = ahab = monster = creature = shit you kill for crystals whatever you wanna call 'em, people need to stop knocking them out and keeping them in tents. we got in shit for bringing mobs to austin, and now people are holding stuff hoping to magically get loot off them? that's a bit worse than pretending jake is our foreman. -------------------------- Message 2350 from *ideas (#504): Date: Thu Jul 14 17:25:37 2005 CDT From: Einar (#37205) To: *ideas (#504) Subject: Mobs Most of the creatures and such you can not pick up. It was simply a joke about the Hawk guy and capturing him for my personal grenade replicator. Put a verb on children of $thing and edit @rename that does a check to see if the object is really a child of polymer armor, katana, etc.. If it isn't, a prefix of "A cheap, plastic, imitation" is added to the name. Of course people can get around it by renaming shit to "kattana" or "polimer" but then everyone would know it was fake. --------------------------
